Christian Dior SE, also known as Dior, is a French luxury goods company managed and chaired by French tycoon Bernard Arnault, who is also the CEO of LVMH, the world's largest luxury group. Designer Christian Dior launched the brand in 1946. It now designs and sells leather goods, fashion accessories, footwear, jewellery, timepieces, fragrance, makeup, and skin care items, while also continuing its heritage as a haute-couture designer through the Christian Dior Couture business. In 1947, the house of Dior launched Parfums Dior and its first fragrance, Miss Dior, is named after the designer's sister Catherine.
